Environmental Dust Solutions (EDS) have extensive knowledge and experience, to ensure a practical, economical and low energy consumption solution for the removal of dust and or fumes.

With our experience in designing dust & fume extraction systems, we are able to provide guidance & advice on selecting a full dust extraction system or ductwork modifications to an existing system. Our recommendations meet the current regulations for COSHH, EPA and ATEX.

We offer a wide range of equipment to suit all needs, from single bag units for a small companies going to large modular units and pulse jet filters for 24 hour operation.

All work, small or large will have a L.E.V. test and report, as per the legal requirement under the Health & safety executive.

Consultancy

As specialists in dust extraction and fume extraction within the workplace we offer our customers a personalised service starting from an initial consultation.

After the initial consultation, discussions take place for the design and Installation of the system, with minimum disruption to the workplace. This results in commissioning an effective extraction systems, meeting legal requirements.

After the commissioning the system, we offer to maintain the extraction system in accordance with H & S legislation.

Design

Full design and consultancy service capable of developing solutions to specific problems.
Dust obviously needs to be controlled for health and safety reasons; but there are other reasons too. The hidden effects of dust can result in high maintenance costs, increased risk of fire/accidents, reduced employee morale, increased employee turnover, lower productivity and reduced customer perception.

Poor layout of machines leads to excessive duct lengths and numerous bends. This decreases the efficiency of the system and may lead to increased noise levels at some workstations. Ad hoc extensions to extraction systems should be avoided. No additional extraction points should be added unless the system is known to have the necessary extra capacity.

Installation

Comprehensive installation service for dust filters, fume scrubbers & ductwork.
All of our Engineers are accomplied with the necessary equipment to undertake the installation, along with full method statement and risk assessment including PPE and hold a M.E.W.P – Boom/Scissor Certificate for each installation process to be carried out.
